Tin Shed Yarn Design evolved from the workspace I started in in the Kaipara region. I have worked with textiles all my life and am always pushing to find artistic expression in good work

I still have a tin shed.

Here at the new Studio in Stratford Taranaki I have more space and light. Working with fleece and high-quality yarn is a constant joy for me.

Shoulder straps with a Celtic braid give good structure as well as design finish.

The diamonds are traditional motif for an Aran. They also fill in a panel with relative ease compared to other stitches.

Cables divide nicely between panels. The Tree of Life motif is more associated with Ganseys but included here as the jersey is a gift.
